Explore the untamed wilderness and calm waters of the magnificent Prince William Sound. Visit a working salmon hatchery. Cruise the spectacular Esther Passage before exploring the numerous glaciers in the Harriman Fjord and Barry Arm. Stop at the majestic Surprise Glacier. Marine animals and birds flourish in these waters, and a delicious Alaskan King Crab cake lunch is included. Pier-side parking available.

Duration:

• Cruise time is about 5 hrs and 15 min.
• A-MMT 01 (Alaska Railroad): Daily departures are offered between Anchorage and Whittier, departing Anchorage at 10:00 a.m. and returning at 9:15 p.m.
• Dates of Cruise Operation for 2011 are: daily from May14 to September 11, 2011.

Schedule: A-MMT02: Cruise departs Whittier at1:15 p.m. and returns to Whittier at 6:30 p.m. Please plan your trip to Whitter traveling through the Anton Anderson Mermorial Tunnel during it's 11:30 am opening to ensure sufficent boarding time.

Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel: Whittier is an Alaska town that can only be reached via the Alaska Railroad or the toll tunnel. Since vehicles and trains share the same tunnel, access to Whittier is available only at the scheduled times. Please arrive using the 11:30 AM tunnel opening.

Our Alaska glacier cruises venture into the calm, protected waters of Prince William Sound. As the ship enters Blackstone Bay, you'll see the massive Blackstone and Beloit Glaciers looming in the distance. As we move in closer, the glaciers grow larger, towering 1,700 feet over our 100-foot vessel. Rather than sailing from glacier to glacier, we stop at each one, floating among the icebergs, giving you plenty of time to take in Mother Nature's glorious ice sculptures. Listen to the glaciers as they groan and crack, an indication that enormous sections of ice are about to calve off and splash into the bay.

Cruise departs from Seward at 11:30am/Returns at 5:30pm

The 6 hr cruise travels to Kenai Fjords National Park where wildlife is abundant and the tidewater glaciers　are massive. Additionally we'll visit the Chiswell Islands National Wildlife Refuge or explore Cape Resurrection as we take you to the most significant wildlife viewing opportunities of our day.

Covering 120-miles, these trips are narrated by a National Park Ranger. You'll often witness calving - a process by which glaciers shed giant blocks and slabs of ancient ice. These cruises also offers the best opportunity for whale watching in Alaska. With photo opportunities galore, your cruise will be unforgettable.

Ground Transportation Packages between Anchorage and Seward can be reserved for travel by train or mototrcoach. (A-MMT03 - 05)

National Park Rangers offer expert insight during the cruises on wildlife, glaciers, and natural history.

Are you looking for a convenient day tour from Anchorage? This tour starts from 11 am. You will depart a city of Anchorage and visit the Hotel Alyeska in Girdwood by driving Sward Highway along a beautiful Turnagain Arm. You will have a lunch there (*lunch is not included in the price above). You have two choices for your lunch: you can either have a lunch at the seven glaciers on the top of mountain with a spectacular view by taking a tram (*Check a special tram and lunch package), or have a lunch at hotel restaurant. After lunch, you will visit Portage Visitor Center and Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Enjoy viewing Portage glacier and discover Alaskan animals. (*AM and PM activities may change depending on a schedule.) You will come back to Anchorage around 5 pm.

Experience "The Largest glacier accessible by car in Alaska." The scenic two hour drive from Anchorage on the Glenn Hwy makes an easy day trip for you. The Matanuska is a beautiful valley glacier which 24 miles long and 4 miles wide descending. You can actually walk on the glacier and enjoy the hiking! This is the best opportunity to see "Glacier"up close and personal!

Schedule:

This 6.5 to 7 hour journey through Prince William Sound features the amazing icebergs from Columbia Glacier. On board this 80 mile glacier and wildlife tour, you will have a chance to view the Sounds' wildlife: whales, sea otters, harbor seals, birds, and a visit to the Bull Head Sea Lion haul out.

You will learn about the mining, oil, earthquake, and fishing history and you will hear stories about the first people to explore and live in the Sound. On board a light meal is served.
